Landor & Fitch announces departure of Nick Foley, promotion of Trish Folan
WPP AUNZ has announced that managing director of Landor & Fitch Australia Nick Foley will be leaving the business while a new general manager has been appointed to lead the Sydney office.
The brand consultancy has promoted Trish Folan to the Sydney role. Folan was most recently executive director client service with Landor Australia, and has held senior client service roles in both Sydney and London.
Foley relocated back to Australia in early 2019 to assume the managing director role. Prior to that he was president for Southeast Asia, the Pacific and Japan based out of Singapore. Foley commenced working with Landor in 2008 and was promoted later that year to run the Sydney office. Prior to Landor he was marketing manager at Mars.
In her new position Folan will work alongside the leadership team of general manager Jessica Murphy and creative director Sam Wall, plus executive strategy director Daye Moffitt who is said to be taking on a wider regional strategy role.
Additional APAC appointments under the leadership of APAC president Jonathan Cummings include Cally Williams as managing director, APAC clients; Janice Siu, managing director APAC business development and Mark D’Costa, managing director business innovation.
Commenting on her appointment Folan said: “It’s an exciting time for Landor & Fitch globally, and I’m particularly ambitious about the opportunity to bring the full range of our capability to all our clients.
“I’m also excited about the opportunities created by strengthening collaboration with our sister brands in WPP AUNZ. I have no doubt we can deliver some truly extraordinary work together,” she added
Group CEO whiteGREY, Landor & Fitch, Maverick and Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Lee Simpson, said appointing Folan from within the business was a demonstration of WPP AUNZ’s ambition to grow and nurture talent from within the organisation.
“I have no doubt Trish will be an excellent leader for the Sydney team, building upon the strong foundations we have in place to deliver even more outstanding work for our ambitious client partners.”
Landor & Fitch currently works with clients across Australia including Lion, Stockland and Tabcorp.
Foley was contacted regarding his departure, but did not respond in time for publishing.
