Here’s a roundup of a few of the new ads you might have noticed on TV recently.
Ford is continuing with its aggressive marketing tactics, promoting its all-new Ford Mondeo as more efficient than the Toyota Camry Hybrid.
The campaign features an attendee of a motor show snapping a photo of the car next to the sign claiming it to be more fuel efficient than the Camry Hybrid, and posting it online, then shows rival hybrid car testers’ reactions to the post. BlueHive is Ford’s creative agency of record.

The ol’ “other car companies reacting to our factual claim” trick. Always very effective on consumer minds and criticised as recycled in the advertising world.
