Here’s a roundup of some of the latest TVCs you might’ve noticed recently.
McDonald’s are giving away Coca Cola glass cups to mark the 100th anniversary of the brand’s unique bottle design.
Created by Leo Burnett, the 15s TVC features an animated birthday cake transforming into a Coke bottle, then transforming into the six available glass designs.
The original bottle was designed by the Root Glass Company of Terre Haute, Indiana, and was patented on November 16, 1915.
Specsavers has gone for the fear of missing out in their latest campaign. From Cummins and Partners, the 30s TVC features a woman who presumably paid too much for her glasses finding this out while she teaches a class on anger management.
Ford‘s latest EOFYS spot, from Blue Hive, informs customers that the end of the financial year is the best time to buy a Ford.
Holden’s new Barina X ad asks the youth of Australia to ‘Xpress’ themselves. Holden’s creative agency of record is AJF Partnership.
iSelect is ramping up their campaign before the government’s freezing of the income thresholds used to calculate the private health insurance rebate. Their latest spot asks consumers to ‘get the facts’. AJF Partnership Melbourne is iSelect’s creative agency of record.
Dating site eHarmony takes on Tinder with this campaign featuring an awkward blind date. The work was by Kalido (formerly Task2).

Ford have nailed it with this one – clean comms and the femaie model is so confident and watchable, as for ISelect the ads have become so pedestrian and unfunny, lost the humour…whats with the line compare more policies than a health fund? much prefer the AHM guy in the couch ad.

The iSelect ad – why make something funny and memorable when you can reel off 20 different benefits and forget all of them instantly?
