Lego Masters draws 1.171m metro viewers on Sunday night, handing Nine another easy win

A week since its launch to 1.2m metro viewers, viewers are still loving Nine’s Lego Masters with the Hamish Blake-fronted reality format delivered 1.171m metro viewers on Sunday night, making it the most-watched entertainment program and second most-watched overall.

The show drew 1.548m national viewers and sat atop all three of the key advertising demographics – 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s.

The closest rival in the 7.30pm timeslot was Ten’s Masterchef which drew 968,000 metro viewers and 1.270m nationally. It also took second place in all three of the key advertising demographics. Seven’s House Rules brought in 640,000 metro viewers and 1.023m nationally.

The most-watched program for the night overall was Seven News with 1.270m metro viewers and 1.874m national. Nine News delivered 1.138m and 1.540m respectively and ABC News 826,000 and 1.270m.

Nine held a commanding 24.4% audience share for its main channel and 32.3% as a network, easily winning Sunday night. Seven held a main channel audience share of 17.4% and a network share of 24.1% while Ten slipped into third place with 15.1% and 20.4%. ABC secured 11.2% and 15.3% as a network and SBS 6.0% and 7.9%. The most-watched multi-channel was 10 Bold with 3.3%.
