Leo Burnett announces two senior appointments

Leo Burnett has announced the appointment of Belinda Drew and Amanda Quested as group business directors. Drew and Quested will join the Account Management team.

Leo  Burnett  Sydney  has  bolstered  its  diverse  50-strong  Account  Management  team  with  two  senior appointments.

New to Leo Burnett is Belinda Drew, coming on board as Group Business Director. With over ten years’ experience both locally and internationally, Belinda’s career started at GPY&R where she worked across a diverse range of portfolios from finance and retail, to telecommunications and tourism. Belinda then moved to Ogilvy, working on brands including GlaxoSmithKline, Nestlé Purina and the NSW Government. During this time she worked on numerous award-winning campaigns and was identified for multiple  rising talent programs, including representing Australia at ‘AdChamps’ in Sri Lanka.

Most  recently,  Belinda  was  VP  Group  Account  Director  at  TBWA\Chiat\Day  New  York  where  she  led category-breaking work for L’Oreal and Michelin rolled out across the US, Canada and Mexico.

After  three  years,  highly  awarded  Amanda Quested  has  recently  returned  to  Leo  Burnett  as  Group Business Director. Originally from the UK and with close to 20 years’ industry experience, Amanda spent her  formative  years  at  BBH  London  working  across  a  broad  range  of  categories  including  automotive, financial  services,  FMCG  and  alcoholic  beverages.   During  that  time  Amanda  was  responsible  for launching the world’s first branded content channel for Audi UK, and led Unilever’s Pan-European Bertolli account, which won numerous effectiveness awards.

Joining Leo Burnett the first time  in  2007, Amanda  ran  an  award winning  portfolio  – Canon, McDonald’s and WWF’s Earth Hour. Amanda’s career has also seen her working as Client Services Director at Host and, most recently as a Senior Consultant for recruitment firm Hourigan International.
