Leo Burnett Sydney wins Emirates creative account
Leo Burnett Sydney has won the creative account for Emirates Australia, following a pitch process.
Incumbent agency Y&R won the creative account in 2012 following a six-way pitch process.
The appointment will see Leo Burnett focus on making the international airline a meaningful and relevant brand to Australians.
Pete Bosilkovski, CEO at Leo Burnett Sydney, said the agency is “thrilled and honoured” to partner with the airline.
“We love to partner with brands that share an obsession with customer experience and innovation and we look forward to collaborating with Emirates to help build on the tremendous affinity that exists for the brand in Australia. It’s with great pride that we announce this win,” Bosilkovski added.
Leo Burnett will be responsible for developing the airline’s creative outputs for its media and digital channels.
Christopher Galanto, senior vice president of advertising at Emirates, said in a statement: “During the RFP [request for proposal] process, the Leo Burnett team demonstrated an excellent grasp of our strategic, brand and tactical communication requirements, and the ability to demonstrate inspiring creative work across channels.”
