Life saver dashes through CBD to promote web agency
Digital agency Web Profits has created a video ad featuring a surf lifesaver running through the streets of Sydney CBD to illustrate that it believes companies with bad websites are “drowning in a sea of competition”.
The campaign supports a competition created by the agenct to try to find the worst business website in Australia, with the prize of building a new one for them. the ad was shot in-house by Web Profits.

The agency says that it has already had 40 entries for the competition.
5.30pm update: Surf Life Saving Australia says the ad infringes its intellectual property.

I get the idea behind the ad, I’m just not 100% convinced about the execution of it. I also know a lot of people in the SLSA and I’m not sure what they would make of this either

Next time an agencey wants to use an image of a life saver they should consider a life guard image .Two different organisations two different attitudes.That is until Surf Life come sniffing because they now lay claim to that image also.Watch out “Hoff ” you will be next !
