Lija Jarvis to lead marketing of Fairfax marketplace brands
Fairfax Media has promoted Lija Jarvis to the role of group marketing director for its marketplaces division.
Jarvis’ promotion comes as part of the company’s ongoing restructure. Jarvis will look after brands including Drive, MyCareer, Domain, RSVP, Stayz / Occupancy, InvestSmart, OMG, Australian Property Monitors, Commerce Australia and TenderLink.
Prior to the resctrucuture, she was marketing director of the company’s digital transactions business. She joined the company in 2006 as director of marketing at RSVP.
She previously worked with companies including Canon Australia, Australian Jockey Club and Adshel. She also ran her own business for four years.
Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large. He returned to Mumbrella as Publisher in January 2025
