Lion Nathan appoints former Virgin Mobile marketer Bradshaw as part of restructure

Former Virgin Mobile marketing director, Jon Bradshaw has moved to Lion Nathan to become brand director of its mainstream beer brands XXXX, Tooheys and West End.

His appointment is part of wider changes within the drinks company’s marketing team which has been led by Lion Nathan marketing director, Matt Tapper.

As part of further changes, the role of category director for premium brands has been vacated by Arno Lenoir, who has left the company to establish his own consultancy business.

His old position has been restructured to the role of brand director for James Boag’s, Hahn Super Dry, James Squire, Barefoot and the portfolio of brands housed with the company’s key partner, Anheuser-Busch InBev – which includes Beck’s and Budweiser.

The newly-structured role will be assumed by Ralph Simpson, who will move from his position of group innovations and insights director.

His old role will be split into two, with the current marketing capability leader, Tami Cunningham, taking on the new title of innovations director; while channel planning and activation team leader, Caspar Wright, will move to the new role of category, planning and insights director.

In another promotion, Anna Lawrence, national sponsorship manager, will see her position widened to sponsorship and communications director.

Meanwhile, Bradshaw has replaced Andrew Coates, who has moved to the role of of national category manager, handling the drinks company’s relationship with Woolworths.

Bradshaw vacated his position as marketing director for Virgin Mobile in September. He was replaced by Ant Hearne and has spent the past few months working on a corporate social responsibility project for the telco.

Virgin Mobile has recently appointed Publicis Mojo to its advertising account.
