Liquid Ideas celebrates 25th year with new business wins and expansion plans

Independent creative agency Liquid Ideas has secured multiple new clients and projects in the second half of 2025, while also preparing to open a Melbourne office in early 2026.

The announcement:

Independent creative agency, Liquid Ideas, has won a raft of new business for the second half of 2025 including Spirits Victoria Association, SpecTAPular, Better Beer, Beudi Agave, plus ongoing work for Pernod Ricard and Mumm Terroirs ANZ, along with Merivale.

After a competitive pitch, Liquid has been appointed agency of record for the Spirits Victoria Association. The two-year remit focuses on local industry engagement, branding, website and asset development, social media support and campaign work.

Liquid is also managing earned media and influencer engagement for the iconic Good Food & Wine Show, national tour, which celebrates 25 years in market this year.

Much-loved independent beer brand Better Beer, has also engaged Liquid to lead on its earned PR activity, while the agency recently wrapped a three-month campaign for Beudi, the Australian-distilled agave.

Liquid also continues its promotion of upcoming Merivale launches in Sydney and Melbourne and after debuting the Mumm Terroirs collection of sparkling wines in 2023, Liquid has been re-engaged to manage media relations and sampling for its next phase under Pernod Ricard across Australia and New Zealand.

In support of long-term client Suntory Global Spirits, on 7 August Liquid launched Suntory Bar, a three-month residency at Prefecture 48, Sydney’s first dedicated Japanese precinct. Liquid has led the end-to-end campaign, from venue partnership, to concepting, production, and all amplification through events, earned, social, influencers, paid content and ATL.

2025 marks the 25th year of Liquid Ideas, with the last five under the leadership of managing director, Cleo Posa. This year the agency unveiled a refreshed brand identity as well as promoting key senior leaders, Gillian O’Young and Hayley Kerrigan, each to the role of managing partner.

This month, Liquid also welcomed Bella Rousis to the 20-strong plus team as head of strategy, overseeing all new business and client strategy. Bella joins Liquid from History Will Be Kind and has more than 13 years working at the intersection of brand and creative across a range of sectors.

Liquid is also welcoming a Melbourne office led by account director, Harper Sassaman, and will open the doors in early 2026.

Cleo said: “It’s been a big year at Liquid and this run of new work really speaks to the current breadth of what we do — from shaping an entire category with Spirits Victoria, to supporting major Aussie festivals, and new launches for long-term partners like Suntory Global Spirits, Pernod Ricard and Merivale. The addition of Bella and a Melbourne office puts us in great stead for an epic run up to 2026.”
