Sydney content agency Storyation has been appointed by luxury tour operator APT to revitalise its customer magazines.

The agency won a competitive pitch to redesign the Melbourne company’s quarterly member’s magazine and annual on-tour magazine. The relaunch issue is due to be sent to APT Club members this week.

“We are delighted to partner with APT to create a sophisticated publication that reflects their position as Australia’s leading luxury tour operator,” said

Storyation’s co-founder and commercial director, Mimi Cullen.

“As an agency, we have a particular focus on travel, and my business partner and I both have many years of experience producing premium magazines, so we’re especially excited about this opportunity.”

APT’s content marketing manager, Fiona Corsie, said: “The new-look Voyage magazine will showcase the unforgettable experiences offered by APT and the unrivalled quality of our customer service.”

“With more than half of APT’s clients returning to travel with us, we have an engaged and extremely loyal audience and we aim to inspire them to book their next trip,” she said.

“We were impressed by Storyation’s understanding of what motivates travellers, and their thorough knowledge of the publishing landscape.”

Storyation’s co-founder and head of content, Lauren Quaintance, was previously general manager of travel for Fairfax Media and managing editor of Fairfax Magazines. Before becoming an agency director at Fairfax Media, Ms Cullen was national group advertising manager of Fairfax Magazines.
