Luxury watchmaker Piaget appoints new creative agency

Creative brand strategy agency Melior has been appointed the agency of record for luxury European watchmaker and jeweller Piaget, after a competitive pitch process.

Melior will now work with Piaget across brand strategy, media relations and general public relations, partnerships and flagship events, Mumbrella can exclusively reveal.

The agency’s founder and managing director Daniel Higgins said: “We are very excited to welcome Piaget, the Maison of Extraleganza, to the evolving Melior client portfolio of category leaders and industry disruptors.”

Gaspard Barthelemy, brand director for Piaget in Oceania region, said: “As we continue to expand Piaget’s local footprint across Oceania, we look forward to working alongside Melior, who will lead and support our global and local brand ambitions.”

Barthelemy said Melior’s work on three event projects in 2022 had sparked interest in the agency’s broader abilities and “gave us confidence [for] a successful partnership”.

Of the decision, Higgins said: “The growth of the relationship from best practice flagship event support, into full retainer agency of record is a testament to the supportive 360 partnership we offer our clients.”
