Macquarie Media and Seven’s The Wall launch ‘Million Dollar Hole in One’ promotion

Seven are celebrating the launch of The Wall by giving six Macquarie Media listeners the chance to be selected for a $1m shot during the Emirates Australian Open.

The announcement:

To celebrate the launch of Channel 7’s The Wall, six lucky Macquarie Media listeners will be selected to take their shot at $1,000,000 during the Emirates Australian Open at the Australian Golf Club on Thursday November 23.

2GB, 4BC and 3AW listeners are invited to enter The Million Dollar Hole in One competition at 2GB.com, 4BC.com.au and 3AW.com.au from Monday 30 th October to Wednesday 15 th November.

The mechanics are simple: go online to select the presenter they want to play for – and telling us why in 50 words or less – they could be given the chance to become a millionaire.

Alan Jones, Ray Hadley, Chris Smith, Ben Fordham, Ross Greenwood and Steve Price will select a finalist each to represent them at The Million Dollar Hole in One.

On the morning of Thursday, November 23, The Alan Jones Breakfast Show will broadcast live from the opening day of the Emirates Australian Open at the

Australian Golf Club at Rosebery. The Million Dollar Hole in One competition will take place that morning between 7am and 8am on the 18th hole, at a par 3 distance from the green.

All 6 contestants will be given one shot to hit a hole in one. If someone gets the ball in, they walk away a millionaire.
