MAFS woos Nine with another win in overall share

Nine’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) has again topped metro entertainment programming for Monday night, delivering Nine a win in overall share for the evening.

The episode brought in 837,000 metro viewers and topped all three key advertising demos.

Next in entertainment was The Chase Australia on Seven, which saw an average metro audience of 526,000, ahead of Ten’s Australian Survivor, with 492,000 metro viewers.

ABC’s Back Roads followed in entertainment, drawing in 460,000 viewers, followed by Seven’s Australian Idol, with 412,000 metro viewers.

Seven News and Seven News at 6:30  #1 news program on Monday was Seven News with 888,000 metro viewers each, followed by Nine News at 6:30 with 812,000 and Nine News with 796,000. A Current Affair brought in 629,000 metro viewers and ABC News had 594,000.

As mentioned, Nine network won the night with a 31.3% overall share, followed by Seven with 26.9%, ABC with 17.8% and Ten with 16.8%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 13 February, MAFS last Monday was the #1 program nationally with 1.741 million Total TV viewers, including 559,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 64%.
