Magnum & Co hires Mango Communication’s Rachel Wotherspoon as senior account manager

Consumer PR agency Magnum & Co has strengthened its team, appointing Rachel Wotherspoon as a senior account manager.

Racehl WotherspoonWotherspoon, who joins the agency after a year and a half as a senior account manager at Mango Communications, will oversee clients including DeLongi, 3M, Wok on Inn and Pawskahe.

She will be leading the day to day running of the accounts, working alongside the PR and social teams, whilst also supporting the company’s drive for new business.

Wotherspoon said in a statement: “Magnum & Co is a great example of an agency that is championing creative content and ensuring that social and digital runs straight through the core of the business, as opposed to being an agency’s sexier little sister. I’m excited to be joining a forward-thinking, independently owned agency and look forward to being a part of its exciting work.”

The agency has also hired two new content and community managers, Alison Duff and Simran Kaur, who will be working across key social media accounts.

Magnum & Co managing director Michelle Hampton said in a statement: “Integration, creativity and content is at the heart of what we do, so I’m delighted to welcome new talent who lend themselves perfectly to our commercial proposition. It’s an exciting time as we begin our next decade in business and we’re pleased to be welcoming Rachel, Alison and Simran to join us in our next chapter as Magnum & Co.”

Magnum & Co rebranded in October last year, ditching the PR from its name in an effort to better reflect its content-led, integrated service offering.

The agency’s clients include Red Bull, Colgate-Palmolive, Matt Moran’s restaurant group MorSol, Oakley, Reebok, and Under Armour.
