Mamamia launches weekly insights newsletter for marketers

Women’s media network Mamamia has launched a weekly newsletter which provides the marketing community with insights from the publisher’s audience.

What Women Are Talking About will use first-party data from Mamamia’s content-audience engagement to provide clients and agencies with the same feedback they would usually be able to access in face-to-face meetings with publishers.

Hannah Mansur, Mamamia’s head of partner solutions, said the publisher is seeking to find new ways to provide its commercial partners with value amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

“We usually spend a lot of face-to-face time, sharing audience insights and data with our clients and agency groups. In these highly unusual times, there’s more to share than ever but we needed to adapt to a bite-sized version that’s suited to the realities of working from home, the office, or bed,” said Mansur.

“Conversations are changing fast and with a weekly wrap up we can help our clients stay very close to what Australian women are talking about.”

The first edition of the newsletter was released last week, focusing on the content women were turning to to distract themselves from the COVID-19 pandemic. The newsletter also included research on how Mamamia’s audience were feeling about the outbreak and its impact on their lives.

The newsletter will also use video from Mamamia content creators to bring the insights to life while the majority of the industry is self-isolating in their homes. Marketers can sign up to the newsletter here.
