Management restructure at FremantleMedia Australia

The production company’s production and development divisions will be under a new management structure, involving two new staff members and three internal promotions, as part of a strategy to diversify their slate of TV and digital media offerings.

Creative director Jason Stephens will now be FremantleMedia Australia’s (FMA) director of development. New additions to Stephens’ team include former Network Ten executive producer Cathie Scott (MasterChef, The Biggest Loser, Big Brother) as director of television content and Don Keyte (previusly head of production at Roving Enterprises) as director of television operations. The three of them will look after the expansion and diversification of the company’s television production slate.

Will Hamilton and Emanuel Matsos have been promoted; Hamilton is now head of production and Matsos the group production manager.

CEO Ian Hogg said these changes would lead FMA “into new and exciting territory”, as the company builds on the success of existing franchises while developing new formats for both TV and digital media.
