Former Channel Seven sports presenter Mark “Soda” Soderstrom has joined the Adelaide Mix 102.3 Breakfast show with Jason ‘Snowy’ Carter and Jodie Oddy.
The announcement:
ARN is pleased to welcome Mark “Soda” Soderstrom to the Mix102.3 Breakfast team, joining the dynamic duo of Jodie and Snowy. Well known to the Adelaide market, Soderstrom “Soda” has been a sports presenter with Channel Seven since 2004 and is a local sporting favourite, having played 121 games in the SANFL with North Adelaide, Glenelg and Sturt.
“We are thrilled Mark is joining Adelaide’s #1 FM Breakfast team. One of South Australia’s most loved sporting personalities, Mark also boasts exceptional media credentials,” said Mix102.3 Content Director, Chris Cotton.
“Soda’s warmth and humour provides him with a unique connection to the audience and he will be a fantastic addition to Jodie and Snowy.”
Soderstrom said: “I am pumped to be joining Jodie and Snowy. ARN is kicking goals and I can’t wait to join Adelaide’s #1 station and #1 FM Breakfast team.”
“Adelaide audiences have a deep connection with the Mix brand and Mark will further strengthen our relationship with our listeners,” added Cotton.
The new Mix102.3 Breakfast team – Jodie, Soda and Snowy – will begin next week.

Is Jody Oddy the only commercial FM breakfast presenter in all of Australia who doesn’t have a nick-name? And, given ‘Soda’ is a former footballer, I’m not at all surprised that he’s “pumped”.
