Marketo appoints Will Griffiths as Australia and New Zealand managing director

Marketing automation company Marketo has announced a new managing director for its Australian and New Zealand operation, filling the post left vacant since Bill Binch left the company last October.

Marketo, Inc., the leading provider of engagement marketing software and solutions, today announced the appointment of Will Griffith as Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand. Griffith will report into Marketo Chief Sales Officer Eric Johnson.

His experience leading successful enterprise teams, knowledge of the local landscape and understanding of the challenges facing today’s chief marketing officers make him an ideal addition to our team,” said Johnson.

Griffith joins Marketo from Oracle Marketing Cloud, where he was most recently Head of Sales and Go-to-Market Strategy for Asia-Pacific. He joined Oracle through its acquisition of Eloqua, where he served as the company’s Regional Director ANZ, establishing its first presence in APAC. With over 20 years’ experience leading teams within enterprise technology and over a decade working with alongside some of the United Kingdom and Australia’s marketing leaders, Griffith is uniquely positioned to help Australian organisations transform the way they engage with customers.

Griffith will be based in Sydney and responsible for Marketo’s overall business operations across Australia and New Zealand.
