MasterChef and Merlin take Ten to Sunday ratings win as Nine’s Home Made goes backwards

Ten’s improving performance saw audience highs for MasterChef, Merlin and Rove in Sunday night’s TV ratings.  

Merlin, in the 6.30pm slot, produced an average metro audience of 1.5m, according to preliminary figures from OzTam. This rose to nearly 1.7m for MasterChef and even caried though to a bigger audience than usual for Rove of 1.2m.

Meanwhile, Nine’s Home Made disaster is getting worse, with a Sunday audience of below 1m for the first time. Last night it rated 975,000.
