Masterchef and Have You Been Paying Attention? win for Ten
Ten’s Masterchef pulled in 1.286m for its elimination episode at 7:30pm last night as the series approaches grand final week, which kicks off on Sunday.
The show was the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54) and helped Ten win the night with an audience share of 19.1%.
Masterchef easily out-rated Seven’s Highway Patrol which pulled in 740,000 and Nine’s 20 To One which was watched by 645,000.
Nine’s Love Child, airing at 8:45pm, grabbed 708,000 metro viewers, slightly down on last week’s 737,000.
Love Child was beaten by Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? which drew a metro audience of 860,000 to be the second most-watched show across the key advertising demographics.
In the news hour, Seven News at 6:00pm achieved 1.254m, slipping to 1.150m from 6:30pm, while Nine News at 6:00pm was watched by 1.050m, sliding to 985,000 at 6:30pm.
Nine’s A Current Affair, airing at 7:00pm, was watched by 838,000.
On the ABC, 7.30 achieved a metro audience of 733,000, Australian Story (8:00pm) grabbed 792,000, Four Corners (8:30pm) drew in 712,000, Media Watch (9:20pm) was watched by 689,000 and Q&A (9:30pm) pulled in 780,000.
