McCain launches a tongue-twisting ad for its beer battered chips

McCain has launched a tongue-twisting ad for its new frozen beer battered chips range.

The ad, created by Cummins & Partners, shows two mates intensely discussing whether you could find a better beer battered chip than McCain’s craft beer battered chips.

McCain said it is seeking to add sophistication to the category, showing in the new campaign that foodie friends will not realise they are being served frozen chips.

Heath Collins, creative director Cummins & Partners, added his own tongue twister in his statement.

“I betcha couldn’t craft a better McCain craft beer battered chip ad than a Cummins & Partners McCain craft beer battered chip ad, because Cummins & Partners use a little bit of better craft to best craft them,” he said.

Sophie Webb, senior brand manager at McCain Foods, Australia and New Zealand said: “It’s great to bring to life our McCain Craft Beer Battered Chip range through a new creative campaign that is truly a cut above and appeals to younger audiences.”

This campaign is rolling out across Australia with an online video campaign, OOH, and radio.
