Latest ads from the weekend: McDonald’s, Kubota Tractors, Holden, Ford, NAB

McDonald’s is promoting its loose change menu with a reworked version of LMFAO’s ‘Sexy and you know it’.

The commercial features an elderly couple driving calmly down the street before their car falls in a pot hole causing their car, and their loose change,  to bounce along to the tune of the song before coming to a stop next to a police car.

It ends with the tagline ‘McDonald’s loose change menu has never been so much fun’.

Kubota Tractors has launched a new TV commercial to promote its Krone round baler.

The commercial features a man dressed in lederhosen as he talks about the German technology behind the baler which allows farmers to create perfect, round bales.

Holden has unveiled its next instalment in its ‘Think About This’ campaign with the new ad promoting the brand’s range of SUVs.

The commercial features the range of SUVs and the various family sizes and ages they cater too.

Previous ads in the ‘Think About This’ campaign have been created by AJF Partnership and Grey Melbourne.

Meanwhile rivals Ford have also launched a new campaign for its EcoSport which sees a couple driving the vehicle around a city, promoting the brand’s urban discoveries promotion.

The promotion is encouraging audiences to share their city secret with a guest judge for a chance to show them in person and to also go in the running $20,000 plus a new Ford EcoSport for a year.

NAB has launched a series of content featuring The Block’s Keith the Foreman who encourages Australians to “do more and delay less”, and encourages viewers to ‘dob in’ those around them who have been delaying a home project.

The bank is encouraging consumers to ‘dob in’ their husband/wife/partner/sibling/mate who have been delaying a home project. NAB responds with a video aimed at encouraging the delayer to get back into the project, with a financial incentive aimed at securing the deal.

The series of content was produced by Channel Nine as a tie-in with The Block.
