MRN launches Sydney comedy radio station The Crack

The Crack radioA new comedy and music radio station will launch in Sydney and online on Monday.

The Crack, from Macquarie Radio Network, will be available on digital radio. It is being produced for the network by the Open Narrowcast Entertainment (ONE) Network and will include performances by unknown Aussie comedians as well as comedy recorded around the world.  

ONE Network Director, Darren Frearson, said, “Comedy has a broad appeal among Australians.”

Macquarie Radio Network Chief Operating Officer, Stuart Thomas said: “The digital radio platform provides commercial broadcasters with an excellent opportunity to experiment with new radio formats.”

MRN’s Sydney AM stations are 2GB and 2CH.
