Meat Free Week asks Aussies to go veggie

Meat Free WeekA campaign has launched to raise awareness of Meat Free Week, a period where Australians are encouraged to go without meat, from 18 – 24 March.

The campaign aims to raise awareness around the practices behind factory farming, and is being led by former NewsLifeMedia executive Melissa Dixon and Pacific Magazines ad director Lainie Bracher.

The animated ad was created pro bono by The Precinct Studios.

The campaign, which includes the website Meatfreeweek.com, is also being backed by TV presenter Laura Csortan, actor Krew Boylan and former magazine editor Deborah Hutton.
