Media review for Garuda takes off
Garuda is holding a review of its media agency relationships as the airline looks to ramp up flight capacity from Indonesia to Australia.
The review, which was confirmed by the airline today, is being held out of Garuda’s headquarters in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
Earlier this year, Garuda’s chief executive Emirsyah Satar said that the airline would increase the number of flights from Indonesia to Australia to take on the rise of low-cost carriers such as Jetstar and Pacific Blue.
Garuda has forecast that annual passenger growth of 5-8% for the Australia-Indonesia market this year.
Garuda declined to comment further on the review.
