Media writer Amanda Meade to leave The Australian
The Australian’s veteran media reporter Amanda Meade is to take redundancy, she has announced.
In a message posted on Twitter this afternoon, she said: “After reporting many redundancies, today I am announcing my own – here on Twitter! After 18 years at the Oz I have taken redundancy.”
Meade is the third senior departure from The Australian’s Media section team in recent months. Simon Canning also took redundancy while section editor Stephen Brook moved to The Australian’s magazine Wish and was replaced by Nick Tabakoff.

No Robbo, The Australian has vast amounts of money because they produce a newspaper which is only aimed at a small section of potential readers, those on the mad right. If they needed money they would chase all readers.
