MediaCom appoints Dean Shell as group business director

MediaCom has hired Dean Shell as its new group business director.

The announcement: 

MediaCom Melbourne has announced the appointment of Dean Shell as Group Business Director in Client Communications Planning. With over 20 years of industry experience, Shell joins MediaCom from previous employer IPG Mediabrands where his vast array of responsibilities included working on a mix of retail, government and digital-only clients including Australia Post, Federal Government, Bunnings Warehouse and Industry Super Australia.

Shell will report directly to MediaCom Melbourne’s General Manager, Anny Havercroft and will oversee the delivery of client Content + Connections planning and business leadership across some of the agency’s key clients.

With Shell’s tenure effective immediately, Anny Havercroft, General Manager, MediaCom Melbourne said of the appointment, “We’re excited to welcome Dean to the MediaCom team as he joins us with a wealth of experience focusing on client management. He will be instrumental in leading our clients through best-in-class communications planning and execution going forward into the Content + Connections space.”

Shells’ tenure with MediaCom is effective immediately.
