Mowle appointed to head of talent

GroupM agency Mediacom has announced two key management changes, it has hired Michelle Mowle as head of talent and promoted Queensland managing director Nicole Boyd to a national client service role.

Mowle joins the media agency after a variety of human resources roles, including three years with Navitas, while Boyd is a veteran of the agency having spent the past 15 years at Mediacom, in various roles.

Sean Seamer, CEO Mediacom Australasia said of the appointment, “We are delighted to have Michelle join our team as head of talent. She is extremely passionate about people and has fantastic experience in transformation, talent development, engagement and recruitment.

“She has a unique energy and experience that will complement our leadership team and drive people initiatives within the business.”

On the promotion of Boyd, Seamer said:  “As a business, we take our clients’ experience with us very seriously and want to ensure that we are relentlessly focused on a high quality day-to-day relationship that adds value to their operations.

“Client service is Nicole’s passion and she strongly believes that developing a clear understanding of a client’s business needs is the key to delivering success in this area.”

Mowle takes over Alaina Hawley, former people and culture director, who Mediacom stated, left to pursue other opportunities, while Boyd replaces James Ledger who departed the agency more than a year ago. 

Mowle’s tenure is effective from April 14, while Boyd will transition into her new role over the coming months whilst a suitable candidate is found to replace her at Mediacom’s Brisbane office.
