MeetMarket open for 25 docos
The Australian International Documentary conference has announced the 25 projects that will participate in the MeetMarket component of its program.
The projects include seven from NSW, seven from Victoria, four from South Australia, two from Queensland, one from Tasmania, one from Western Australia and three from New Zealand.
Two slots were allocated to “Fresh Meet”, an incentive encouraging recent university graduates to submit proposals.
MeetMarket offers documentary filmmakers the opportunity to meet with potential buyers – broadcasters and distributors. Pitch teasers of the projects will be available online, and partipants will then have one-on-one meetings during the event in Adelaide.
This market is supported by Screen Australia. In addition, AIDC will provide other marketplace opportunities including Trailer Park, Videotheque and The Editors’ Hour. Online facilities supporting these opportunities include the Screening Room and DocExchange.
