Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital rebadges
R. Co Brand Communications is behind a new brand identity for The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
According to a press release, the new identity reflects the hospital’s world leading status and parkland setting.
The idea is for the logo to appeal to a children, their families, staff and other stakeholders. The result is a symbol that is “so simple that a child could draw it in the sand,” said R. Co’s CEO and creative director Richard Henderson.
“For The Royal Children’s Hospital at the heart of it all are the children, so the result is a figurative brand mark that encompasses a modern children’s hospital while retaining the very values that have seen the hospital at the forefront of paediatric care for 141 years.”
The logo will be used on signage, in digital channels and architectural details of the hospital.
I like this logo. I think it’s bright, positive and distinctive.
