MercerBell ramps up Toyota account team

MercerBell has hired two account directors, Chrissina Tonks and James Humphrey, to work on its Toyota business.

The announcement:

Sydney, 13 April 2011: Digital, Direct and Data Marketing agency MercerBell continues to ramp up its expansion strategy, with the recent appointment of Chrissina Tonks and James Humphrey to the company’s Toyota accounts.

Chrissina joins MercerBell as Account Director for the Toyota Financial Services and National Parts and Services divisions. Formerly an Account Director at Ogilvy, Chrissina brings over ten years experience in direct marketing across a range of industry sectors.

Chrissina previously lead the direct account management of Foxtel and GSK, as well as being involved in the raw industrial marketing for Virgin Blue, GFab, Fuji Xerox, LexisNexis and CMC Coil Steels.

James joins MercerBell in a newly created role of Account Director for the Toyota Direct Marketing and Fleet divisions.

With over six years experience in both the UK and Australia, James has made the move from direct marketing agency Friend, where he was instrumental in implementing digital strategies and growing the accounts of top clients including Volkswagen, Hill’s, Western Sydney Giants, FlexiGroup, ING Direct and AON.
