MFM secures funding for Cup, Eye of the Storm
Media Funds Management will provide funding for three features currently in production: The Cup, The Eye of the Storm and Oakie’s Outback Adventures.
“We believe the Producer Offset system is working well and presents little risk”, said MFM MD James M. Vernon.
“MFM is funding against assets such as the Producers Offset and pre-sales, MGs and DGs […] Distributors and buyers seem to be cautiously re-entering the marketplace and we expect that strengthening pre-sales conditions will soon follow”.
Vernon added that MFM is interested in adding big and small projects to its slate, and securing funding rights to TV projects of any size, from both Australia and NZ.
