Michael Clarke joins Aussie video messaging platform Swysh

Michael Clarke has joined Swysh.

The announcement:

Michael Clarke is the latest sports star to join a stellar roster of athletes on the Australian video messaging platform Swysh. With the T20 World Cup, Ashes and BBL|11 heating up, Michael is officially available for personalised video messages via Swysh, giving Aussie sports fans access just in time for the summer of cricket.

In good company, Michael joins an all-star lineup of talent available on the platform including 2021 AFL Grand Final Norm Smith medalist Christian Petracca, NSW Origin and Roosters captain James Tedesco, and Matildas and Arsenal star Steph Catley.

With a starting price of $20 up to $350, Swysh allows customers to book personalised video messages that celebrate all different occasions, ranging from birthdays, good luck messages, invites, marriage proposals, baby gender reveals, job offers to everything in between. A minimum of twenty percent of the proceeds from the sale of each video are donated to local children’s charities Starlight Children’s Foundation and Variety Children’s Charity. Swysh has donated over $400,000 to date.

Michael Clarke said in joining Swysh “I’m excited to be working with Swysh on their video messaging platform. Fan engagement is something I’m very passionate about, so when I saw how Swysh is changing the game by giving fans unprecedented access in a simple way, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.”

He continued “video messaging is a powerful tool to brighten up someone’s day, or play a part in a special celebration, and with that, it’s fantastic that Swysh gives me the opportunity to do this while being able to support local Aussie charities at the same time.”

CEO and Founder of Swysh Michael Roth said “As a legend of Australian sport, with both a local and international fan base, we are thrilled to welcome Michael to the platform. Whether it’s leadership advice, batting tips or motivation, it’s great for fans to be able to be inspired by a personalised message from Michael.”

“With the exciting Ashes series coming up, followed by the BBL, we’re looking forward to connecting the cricket fans to their favourite stars this summer.”

Swysh has seen rapid growth in the past few months, particularly since many athletes have been forced to relocate away from fans. With over 750 athletes, legends and sports personalities now active on the platform, the choices are endless.

Clarke joins other superstars of Australian sport available for fans on Swysh including Patrick Dangerfield, Ryan Papenhuyzen, Kevin Sheedy, Matt Burke, Tom Trbojevic, Lisa Sthalekar, Trent Cotchin, Jana Pittman and Paul Gallen.

Other international cricketers available on the platform include: Usman Khawaja, Rashid Khan, Ashleigh Gardner and Colin Munro.
