Millions watch Aussies win the cricket on Nine

It turns out Aussies love cricket, as more than a million viewers across the capital cities watched Australia’s victory in the ICC last night on Nine.

This loyal crowd of cricket supporters helped Nine take a commanding 47.2% audience share, well over double that of nearest competitor Seven, who managed 20.4%, driven mainly by its strong Sunday night news showing, and The 1% Club, which drew an impressive 571,000 across the five metro areas.

ABC took 15.6% market share, with Joanna Lumley’s Spice Trail Adventure (412,000), and Annika (389,000), as well as the Bluey Fest going on over at ABC Kids.

Ten took 11.2%, helped along by Dessert Masters (342,000) and The Sunday Project, which drew 216,000.
