MPG to work with Frangelico and Showpony

Adelaide creative outfit Showpony is to use MPG Melbourne and sister agency Media Contacts to do its traditional and digital media buying, following a competitive pitch.

Showpony Managing Director Jamie Scott said “They look and sound like a creative agency but with big media smarts which makes them the ideal partner for us.”

And MPG – which is majority owned in Australia by Mitchell Communication Group – has also picked up liqueur brand Frangelico, which is part of the C&C International Group. The appointment is part of an international alignment between MPG and C&C.

MPG’s MD Kristian Barnes said, “We are very excited to partner with both these businesses. “Showpony presents a great opportunity to work with a fast growing and talented creative shop. Frangelico is a first-class brand.”
