MRC adds Jägermeister to food and beverage portfolio

Communications agency MRC has added alcohol brand Jägermeister to its food and beverage portfolio.

The announcement:

Integrated communications agency MRC is proud to welcome iconic German alcohol brand Jägermeister to its food and beverage portfolio in partnership with current creative media agency Reprise, effective immediately.

Developed in 1934 by alchemists Wilhelm and Curt Mast the Jägermeister brand and recipe — made from 56 botanical herbs and spices and served in its iconic green, square-shouldered glass bottle — has become synonymous the world over with thought-provoking culture and nightlife.

“Having followed the Brown-Forman portfolio of spirits since the beginning of my career, I’m thrilled to partner with the American-owned distributor to manage the Jägermeister brands public profile in our local market,” says MRC founding director, Cameron Carter.

MRC in partnership with creative media agency Reprise will be responsible for Jägermeister’s communications strategy, media relations, influencer engagement, and amplifying the brands local market incarnation of the global campaign initiative #SaveTheNight.

“MRC’s proven communications credentials and unrivalled knowledge of the hospitality industry, having worked with industry peers Pernod-Ricard and The Sydney Collective, really appealed to us,” says Reprise national strategic and creative operations director, Trent Peppercorn.
