MRN launches radio advertising showcase

BuyRadioMacquarie Radio Network has launched a website that provides media buyers with a showcase for reaching ‘mature affluent’ radio listeners.

MRN has called the platform the first of its kind in Australia, and is an early step towards advertisers buying and reviewing radio online, Mark Noakes, MRN’s sales director, noted.

The site, called BuyRadio, includes content synopses, audio grabs, ad rates and market coverage for the network’s top rating shows.

“BuyRadio delivers the programme schedule by advertiser segments, as opposed to time-slot, so advertisers can identify where their product or service would find the most appropriate audience,” Noakes explained.
