Mumbrella expands editorial team with new senior reporter

Mumbrella has this week welcomed a new addition to its editorial team.

Mumbrella has announced Rosie Drew to the role of senior reporter, starting this week.

With a solid background in journalism, marketing, and communications, Drew has a proven track record of producing insightful and original news stories, features, and investigative pieces. During her career, she has worked in the not-for-profit sector and at regional independent newspapers, both as a senior journalist and editor. She relocated to Sydney from the UK six years ago, after completing a bachelor’s degree in journalism at a London University.

“The recruitment for the senior reporter role was a very considered effort,” Mumbrella editor Neil Griffiths said.

“While we wanted a candidate with deep experience and a strong background in journalism, we also wanted to bring in someone with strong character and who could help build on the excellent job this editorial team has done in the last few months.

“Rosie is enthusiastic, extremely passionate and a dedicated team player, and we are equally as excited to have her on board.”

Drew added: “Joining the Mumbrella team marks a significant milestone in my career, and one that I am incredibly excited about.

“I’ve followed the exceptional work of Mumbrella’s journalists for a number of years and I am looking forward to collaborating with them to produce insightful news our readers can rely on. Under Griffiths, Drew will work alongside deputy editor Nathan Jolly, journalist Lauren McNamara and editorial assistant Matthew Leong.
