Mumbrella’s Meet The Marketers event returns to Sydney and launches in Melbourne next year
Mumbrella is to stage two events next year featuring a panel of heavyweight marketers in Sydney and Melbourne.
Called ‘Meet The Marketers’, a panel of four marketing chiefs including the likes of Woolworth’s Luke Dunkerley and Virgin Mobile’s David Scribner will join a discussion moderated by Mumbrella’s editor-in-chief Tim Burrowes in Sydney.
In Melbourne a week later, a panel including the marketing bosses of Ford, Myer and Cricket Australia will tackle the issues of the day, hosted by Mumbrella’s Melbourne editor Robin Hicks.
The events come a year after Mumbrella’s first marketer summit, which featured industry figures from CommBank, News Limited, Coles and Tourism Australia.
Each panel discussion will last about an hour and a half, followed by drinks and canapés.
The 2013 Meet the Marketers panel in Sydney:
- Luke Dunkerley, GM of corporate marketing, Woolworths
- Helen Kellie, director of marketing, SBS
- Susan Massasso, regional marketing director, Campbell Arnott’s Asia Pacific
- David Scribner, marketing director, Virgin Mobile
- Megan Foster, GM of marketing and brand development, Myer
- Ben Amarfio, EGM, marketing, digital and communications, Cricket Australia
- David Katic, general manager of marketing, Ford
One place on the Melbourne marketer panel has yet to be confirmed.
The Sydney event will take place on Wednesday 30 January at The Imax Theatre in Darling Harbour Sydney from 6-9pm.
The Melbourne event will take place on 7 February at River’s Edge on Siddeley Street, also from 6-9pm.
Tickets are available for each event at $99.
