Mumbrella unveils new team members
Mumbrella has made new editorial, sales and management appointments ahead of June’s Mumbrella360 conference.
Robin Hicks joins Mumbrella as deputy editor. His previous roles have included Southeast Asia editor of Media Magazine, reports editor of Campaign magazine in the UK and assistant editor of Media & Marketing Europe. He starts next week.
Also starting next week is Rebecca Downie, who will become Mumbrella’s deputy sales director. She moves across from Reed Business Information’s healthcare publishing division.
Joining Mumbrella’s parent company Focal Attractions is former B&T publisher Martin Lane as publishing director. Lane was one of the founding investors in the launch of Focal and Mumbrella. Most recently he was publishing director of TNT magazine. Among other things, Lane will manage Mumbrella360.
And Alice Terlikowski will join Focal Attractions as a multimedia journalist working across Mumbrella, sister screen industry title Encore and travel website Thumbrella. Terlikowski – who previously worked for Focal Attractions in early 2009 and currently works on TNT magazine, also starts next week. Her duties will include producing the weekly audio Mumbrellacast.
Hicks, Downie and Lane are stepping into new roles, while Terlikowski will replace Georgina Pearson who departs next week to work with charity organisation Doctors Without Borders.
