Mushroom 50 concert wins Sunday for Seven

Seven has dominated Sunday night with a four-hour celebration of Australian music, as the Mushroom 50 concert in Melbourne pulled in audiences across all demographics for the network.

Mushroom 50 Live drew 557,000 across the five metro areas, and 830,000 total audience. As the concert carried on, viewership dropped off, as is expected, with 490,000 metro viewers tuning in for the ‘Late’ portion (732,000 total), and 350,000 metro viewers (516,000 total) sticking around until the end.

It won overall viewership, as well as the 25-54 and the 16-39 markets.

Elsewhere on Sunday night telly, 60 Minutes rated well for Nine, with 466,000 metro viewers, while Dessert Masters continues to be a sweet treat for Ten viewers, pulling a metro audience of 441,000.

Overall, Seven won the night comfortably, with 33.8% of the evening audience, followed by Nine’s 24.5%, ABC’s 17.7% (driven by Annika, and a repeat of Joanna Lumley’s Britain), while Ten scored 16.5% of viewers.
