MyDeal appoints its first chief marketing officer from Catch.com.au

Ryan Gracie has been appointed as chief marketing officer at online retail marketplace MyDeal, effective from today (24 May).

Gracie is the first CMO to be appointed at MyDeal.

On his appointment, Gracie said: “I’m eager to join such a high calibre team at a pivotal moment in MyDeal’s growth journey. Underpinned by a formidable proprietary platform, I see tremendous opportunity to significantly grow the Company in the near term through an enhanced customer value proposition, sophisticated marketing, merchandising and sustained brand growth.”

Gracie joins MyDeal from Catch.com.au, where he was also chief marketing officer from June 2016. He was global marketing director at Funtastic from February 2015 to March 2016. Gracie has also held senior marketing roles at JB Hi Fi and APN Online.

Sean Senvirtne, CEO at MyDeal, added: “Ryan is a marketer of the highest calibre in Australian online retail, having most recently participated in scaling a business from $190 million to being one of the largest online retailers in the country in just 5 years. He will play a key role in growing our business by ensuring even more Australians are shopping for home and lifestyle products at the lowest prices through MyDeal.”

Gracie was at Catch.com.au when it launched its first campaign via AJF Growthops, ‘Checkout Catch‘.

MyDeal is an online retail marketplace with a focus on home and lifestyle goods.

Catch.com.au declined to comment.
