Ganschow left Westpac in October 2016 and will commence her new role as general manager for consumer marketing and customer strategy in February, alongside Analisa Kirby, general manager for intermediary marketing and Suzana Ristevski, general manager, business marketing and customer strategy.

Named as one of LinkedIn’s power profiles in a survey last year and ADMA’s Marketer of the Year in 2008, Ganschow joins NAB after five years with Westpac.

Prior to her role, Ganschow led mobile and internet customer value propositions at Optus.

Kirby had previously led marketing in financial services, working with both QIC and AMP Capital over the span of her career while Ristevski joins NAB after her most recent role as chief marketing officer and head of strategy and growth at GE.

Andrew Knott, chief marketing officer at NAB said of the appointments: “Karen, Analisa and Suzana are each highly experienced marketing leaders who bring their clear passion for marketing and for customers to NAB.

“We’ve gone for the best of the best in their respective fields, and I’m very excited to see each of these marketing leaders join the NAB Marketing team,” Knott added.

Knott said the trio will be key players in NAB’s ‘More than Money’ story and will help the bank’s customer service focus.
