Nearly 1.8m for Australia’s rugby exit

Australia’s exit from the Rugby World Cup helped Nine to an easy ratings win on Sunday.

The contest with New Zealand rated 1.788m, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.

Second was Nine News with 1.382m, followed by Underbelly Razor with 1.336m.

Seven’s Wild Boys slipped below 1m, to 997,000, while Seven News rated 1.243m.

Junior Masterchef was Ten’s best performing show of the night although it only rated 872,000.
