Negus on the up as Nine’s Monday woes continue
6.30PM with George Negus delivered its best performance to date in the show’s new timeslot, moving closer to the target set for the Ten news programme a 500,000 audience.
The show rated 474,000, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.
Meanwhile, Million Dollar Drop’s Monday edition continued to struggle for Nine compared to its Thursday edition.
It was a poor night across the board for Nine, with the network languishing fourth during some parts of the evening. Ten had an even worse night, finishing only just ahead of ABC1.
Nine’s 7pm repeat of the Big Bang Theory (860,000) was behind Home And Away (1.049m) on Seven, ABC News (1.017m), and just ahead of The 7PM Project on Ten (833,000).
At 7.30pm Nine ‘s double episodes of Two And A Half men rated 778,000 and 622,000. This compared to ABC1’s 7.30 (736,000) and Australian Story (863,000); Seven’s My Kitchen Rules (1.517m) and Ten’s The Biggest Loser (863,000).
At 8.30pm the final episode of Conviction Kitchen (928,000) won its timeslot for Seven ahead of House (698,000) on Ten, Four Corners (761,000) and Media Watch (677,000) on ABC1 and Million Dollar Drop (615,000).
At 9.30pm, Ten dropped into fourth with Good News Week averaging 473,000 behind ABC1’s Q&A (606,000), Brothers & Sisters (577,000) on Seven and CSI Miami on Nine (586,000).
