Neil Parkin joins Chieftain Communications

Experiential marketing company Chieftain Communications has appointed Neil Parkin to the role of senior activations manager.  

The announcement:

Experiential and Youth marketing specialist, Chieftain Communications, today announced that it had made a senior hire to help service its growing raft of new business.

Neil Parkin, formerly of custom media house Text Pacific, joined the business today as a Senior Activations Manager. With over ten years tenure in the promotional and marketing arena, Parkin brings a wealth of experience to Chieftain.

Steve Fontanot, Founder of Chieftain Communications said, “It’s boom time within the experiential and youth space. This marketing savvy audience have great expectations of brands – the days of one dimensional ads are long gone. A higher level of creativity is required for cut through. As this attitudinal shift has occurred we have found demand for our expertise increasing. As such we are pleased to welcome Neil, a first class operator and project manager, on board.”

Chieftain Communications launched in March 2009 with projects including V Energy Drink, RACV’s Youth Campaign ‘free2go’, and the launch of Starlight Children’s Foundation’s sister site Livewire.org.au. Most recently Chieftain have worked hand in hand with DDB/Mango on the last four Telstra youth campaigns – Sushi Plane (in Tokyo), Cabbie-Oke, Party Catchers and Free Run.
