New production company Sweetbox opens
A new creative studio has opened for business with former director at MTV Johan Polhem as creative director and business partner Tom Haramis.
Sweetbox, a subsidiary of Haramis’ Motion Media Group, offers post-production, creative design and direction as parts of its services.

Haramis said in a statement: “My vision for Sweetbox was a studio of creative minds that thrived on collaboration not just within the walls of a studio but with like-minded talent from around the world who believe that the confines of an office do not limit the boundless potential of great ideas.”
Polhem told Mumbrella he was already in talks with Haramis when MTV restructured and offered him an attractive redundancy package.
The staff of 15 includes production manager Candice Preddy, who produced Australian feature film Squid, and Mo Shono, a former art director at Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai.
Sweetbox has formed a joint venture with Dubai studio Muddville.
Polhem told Mumbrella: “We are looking for companies internationally that we can partner with.”
Personally, I’d be holding off on a tease clip until I actually had something engaging to show.
