News Magazines has realigned its sale structure of market leading mastheads in Western Australia from OKeeffe Media to NewsNet in Perth.

The announcement:

News Magazines today announced a realignment of its sales structure in Western Australia.

As of this month, sales representation across News Magazines’ portfolio of market-leading mastheads will shift from OKeeffe Media to NewsNet in Perth, a divisional partner of News Limited.

Zara Curtis, commercial director at News Magazines, said: “OKeeffe Media has done an outstanding job of representing News Magazines titles in the Western Australian market. Our decision to consolidate representation with NewsNet in Perth will enable a closer working relationship between our sales arm and the NSW-based editorial teams and digital platforms, ensuring we deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.”

NewsNet in Perth already represents News Magazines’ six Newspaper Inserted Magazines (NIMs): The Weekend Australian Magazine, WISH, sunday magazine, The Adelaide* Magazine, QWeekend, STM and WISH. Collectively, these titles reach over five million loyal and engaged readers every weekend as part of their host newspapers.

By representing NIMs titles alongside News Magazines’ consumer titles, News Magazines is creating one main point of contact and a refined key account management structure.

Angela Burbury, WA sales manager at NewsNet in Perth, will become the key point of contact for all valued News Magazines customers in the Western Australian market.

“I’m delighted to oversee sales representation across News Magazines’ stable of vibrant magazine brands and NIMs. NewsNet in Perth will now deliver far more integrated and innovative solutions as a result of this company realignment,” said Ms Burbury.

Burbury has been with News Limited for seven years, and has worked closely across all its divisions. In Perth, NewsNet will now represent all News Limited metropolitan newspapers, in addition to News Magazines NIMs and mastheads including Vogue Australia, Vogue Living, GQ Australia, Inside Out, Gardening Australia, MasterChef magazine, donna hay magazine, ABC delicious., Australian Good Taste, Super Food Ideas, Australian Golf Digest and Big League.

There will be no changes to the customer service experience provided to News Magazines’ Perth customers, and existing bookings processes and relationships through its customer service centre in Sydney will be maintained.

Angela Burbury, WA State Manager at NewsNet, can be contacted by phone on (08)9326 9804 or email burburya@newsltd.com.au
