NewsLifeMedia releases Inside Out special craft edition, Origami at Home
NewsLifeMedia has released a special edition of homes brand magazine Inside Out titled ‘Origami at Home’, which is designed to target consumers interested in nostalgia, crafts and time away from the internet.
NewsLifeMedia’s lifestyle publisher, Nick Smith, said that the special editions are aimed at both catering to and shaping consumer’s dynamic interest. “We’re tapping into the ‘Peter Pan’ movement, where adults are delighting in the nostalgia of childhood activities re-purposed in the pursuit of mindfulness, sharing and family fun,” Smith said.
“At one end NewsLifeMedia’s lifestyle portfolio is driving advanced digital connection with our audiences, and at the other, we allow them to take a digital detox and make time for themselves.”
Inside Out editor-in-chief, Claire Bradley, re-emphasized the vision to harmonise digital engagement and the consumers’ need for internet detox.
“We are launching with a wonderful social campaign around the basic concept of the origami chain,” said Bradley. “Folding and making small origami tokens are made and given as a token of friendship and love.
“We’re inviting our audience to fold a model from the book – with our paper – post it on Instagram and tells us who they’re giving it to and why with #origamichainIO.”
Inside Out’s Origami at Home is packaged as an entry level-crafting guide with 50 sheets of custom-designed paper. The edition is also complemented by a step-by-step visual guide on Inside Out’s Youtube channel.
